Goal 1: Wildfire Resiliency
The first goal of the Santa Rosa Fire Foundation is to improve responsiveness to community threats, natural disasters and wildfire.
In order to better equipped to handle disasters, including wildfire, and protect our city from all community threats, the Santa Rosa Fire Foundation will work to expand coverage to the residents of the City of Santa Rosa through new fire stations, new/enhanced equipment, innovative technology, and training for all Santa Rosa Fire Department personnel.

Goal 2: Health and Wellness
The second goal of the Santa Rosa Fire Foundation is to ensure the health and wellness of the personnel of the Santa Rosa Fire Department through injury prevention rehabilitation and developing programs to enhance behavioral health care.
The Santa Rosa Fire Foundation will partner with the Santa Rosa Fire Department to provide the ability to renovate and provide adequate facilities and equipment for privacy, security and resiliency of the fire stations to ensure health and wellness of the personnel of SRFD. Additionally through partnerships with local health care providers, we will allow for additional support in training and behavioral health care.

The third goal of the Santa Rosa Fire Foundation is to engage the community to promote greater disaster preparedness and increase opportunities for diversity within the Santa Rosa Fire Department.
The Santa Rosa Fire Foundation will work to assist the Santa Rosa Fire Department with the implementation of the Community Wildfire Prevention Plan (CWPP) through outreach and education. Additionally, the Santa Rosa Fire Foundation plans to work alongside of the Santa Rosa Fire Department to implement their diversity and recruitment strategies laid out in the organization’s Diversity and Recruitment Plan.
